• 10 mm socket
• Ratchet
• Long Extension

Materials Provided:

• 4 Ground Cables
• 3 M6 Bolts
• 1 M6 Nut
• 3 6mm Flat Washers

Installation

Note: A good ground connection requires that the ground wire terminals contact clean bare metal; not paint, dirt or corrosion on top of the metal surface. Prepare the ground point by cleaning to bare metal, and apply a corrosion preventative such as a battery terminal spray, or a spray chain lube to prevent any future corrosion.

Four grounding cables will be installed in these approximate locations:

The first 15" cable will run from the negative terminal of the battery to the chassis at the airbox mounting bolt location. Install it on the negative battery cable stud with the washer and nut provided. If you do not have an aftermarket intake, you will have to remove the stock airbox to install this cable or find an alternate location:

The second 14" cable will run from the alternator bracket to the factory harness grounding point just behind the coolant reservoir:

The third 9" cable runs from the inner strut mounting stud to the AC line bracket on the intake:

Here’s a close-up of the intake mounting location:

The last 26" cable runs from the small bracket mounting bolt on the rear of the cylinder head just forward of the throttle cables and to the driver side strut tower inner stud:

That’s it you’re done! You should notice a smoother running engine, faster starting, a better idle, a few additional HP and better mileage.
