Installation Time: Approximately 30 minutes
Tools Required:

• 10 mm socket
• 12 mm socket
• Ratchet
• Short Extension
• Long Extension
• Emery paper, grinder, or Dremel to clean grounding locations for good contact

• 4 Ground Cables
• 2 M6 Bolts
• 2 M6 Flat Washers
• 1 M6 Nut

Installation

Note: A good ground connection requires that the ground wire terminals contact clean bare metal; not paint, dirt or corrosion on top of the metal surface. Prepare the ground point by cleaning to bare metal, and apply a corrosion preventative such as a battery terminal spray, or a spray chain lube to prevent any future corrosion.

Four grounds will be installed in these approximate locations:

First we’ll install the 17" grounding cable from the negative battery terminal to the chassis. Attach one end to the negative terminal bolt with the nut and washer provided, or by removing the existing nut:

The other end goes to the existing chassis ground point on the strut tower.

The 22" cable is bolted to the bracket near the dipstick and to the chassis:

The 9" cable runs from an engine bolt at the factory harness grounds location to the harness bracket bolt on the strut tower:

Again, clean up the chassis attachment point well:

The last 26" cable is installed from the thermostat housing to the strut bolt. You may choose to use the bolt on the bracket below the housing, or one of the two bolts on the bracket above the housing also:

That’s it you’re done! You should notice a smoother running engine, faster starting, a better idle, additional HP and better mileage.
