Installation
Our installation instructions are generic for any Nissan vehicle that is compatible with our aux plug. We would recommend getting it professionally installed if you do not feel comfortable following our instructions.
NOTE: Please confirm that your head unit has the black 8-pin DIN input plug on the back before ordering:

The cable features two female RCA inputs for connections to aux audio input devices such as DVD players, iPods, MP3 players, Satellite Radio, and Carputers. If your device only has the 1/8" stereo (headphone) output, you will require a 1/8" stereo to RCA adapter cable available through us as an option when checking out.
To install this cable you must first remove your radio.
Pull it forward, and splice the violet amp turn on cable to the purple (Might be another color - still pin 10) Acc/On input cable in pin 10 of the large 10 Pin modular plug shown here with the red 3M Scotchlok connector provided:

Connect the DIN plug and your input cable, and then route the switch wires to your desired mounting location. Disconnect the wires, install the switch, and reconnect the wires (polarity doesn't matter). Reinstall the trim panels and radio. The aux input is enabled by momentarily depressing the auxiliary input switch. Normal AM/FM/CD operation can be resumed by depressing the necessary buttons on the head unit, or switching off the auxiliary input.
Note: Auxiliary input levels are typically slightly lower than the level of the internal inputs from the CD player and FM tuner within the unit. Therefore, an equal listening volume typically requires a setting approximately slightly higher on the volume scale. This is normal operation of the auxiliary input function. If you require perfectly matched levels we recommend adding a Line Driver to boost the input level from the auxiliary input source.
The switch provided may not exactly match the switch illustrated. Another switch may be substituted for the switch provided if desired.
If your auxiliary audio input source uses a 1/8" stereo (headphone) line out we also offer a five foot adapter cable for an additional $3.
