Active Tuning is proud to offer a custom-modified solution to fit the popular Koni Sport front struts from the 1995-99 Maxima application to the 2004-2006 Nissan Altimas. These will nicely complement our KYB rear shock absorbers and provide a complete and fully adjustable damping suspension for lowered cars.
KONI serves sporting drivers with a carefully designed range of sport shock absorbers. The KONI Sport (yellow) typically starts at a higher initial valving baseline than the KONI Special (red) to give a sportier feel and to work on vehicles with higher performance parts and lowering springs.
The use of lowering springs requires special damping characteristics. The mere application of stiffer springs together with ordinary shock absorbers often has a negative impact on road-holding and comfort, and may even lead to dangerous situations. This line focuses on exceptional road-holding and handling properties, combined with an acceptable level of comfort. Its characteristics include responsive steering, improved body control and limited body movements when braking and accelerating, all resulting in a direct feel and excellent wheel-road contact.
Last but not least, KONl's are built to last a lifetime. Once you have bought a set of KONl's for your car, they usually will outlive it. KONI street shocks carry a lifetime warranty to the original purchaser for as long as you own the vehicle.
This product is offered as a service and requires the OEM strut assemblies and upper mount assemblies shipped to us for installation. We also have cores available for a a $250 deposit which is 100% refundable upon receipt of your cores in good condition. Turnaround time is 48 hours.

2)$375 + $250 Refundable Core Charge if your core struts are shipped back to us within 10 days after receiving the parts.
3)$625 Direct Replacement - All parts included in cost.
