Starting today you will be able to find the new Nissan Rogue at your local Nissan dealerships.

Nissan Rogue

The Rogue is based on the Sentra platform, and will start at $19,250 for the 2WD SL model. AWD will run you about an extra $2,000. What do you think? Do you think Nissan needs this mini-SUV in their lineup?

I work for a nissan dealership in Las Vegas, NV and we just got our first Nissan Rogue and I have to say it is needed! Nissan doesn’t have an SUV that directly competes with Honda’s CR-V and Toyota’s RAV4. It is a cute little SUV with proportions smaller to the Murano and mimicks it. The only problem I have with it, it looks like a Hyundai Tucson. The overall design is nice and very cute and it falls into that ‘cute-ute’ category. The interior materials aren’t up to par with the CR-V and RAV4 but it is made with nice plastics and the seats have a good feel to them. Overall this car will sell for Nissan and it has already good reviews and placed 2nd to the RAV4.

Thanks for the comments Nestle. It does sort of look like the Tuscon, but I like the new Tuscon looks, so I don’t think that’s a bad thing :)

Hopefully I’ll see it in person soon!

I tested driving Rogue, RAV4, and CR-V. No big
difference. The interior storage space of Roque
is small though. CR-V looks smaller from out side,
and design looks cheaper than previous models.
The dealer says no rebate for Roque yet so that
    the price will be higher.
