2006 Maxima Dash Kit Added
Update 9/30/06: We are currently listing compatibility with only 04-05 models due to news of color being off with 06 models.
The dash kit we carried for the 04-05 Nissan Maxima is now confirmed to be compatible with the 06 models. Our product page has been updated accordingly.

No it does NOT WORK, Sure it fits, but did anyone look at it installed in a 2006 Maxima, I would guess no! You see the problem is that NISSAN changed to Factory trim Tone from Flat Silver (Darker) in 04-05 to Brushed Silver in 06. This is 100% FACT! Conf. by Nissan USA. So sure if you don't mind 2 tone dash go for it. Metra and Best Kits just can't seem to get this right, It's simple, open an 04-05 maxima then go look at an 06.... duhhhh

With this in mind we will remove the 06 compatibility until we know for sure that it fits or not.

This is what the manufacturer said to us:
Different productions of the cars will be a different shade here and there, same with the kit. Depending on the day how things are mixed the weather temp. All these things have an effect on the shade of color even if it will be ever so slight. So I would say if you customer is looking for exact then don't sell it.
I will leave off the 06 compatibility for now, but if we do add it later, we'll have a note stating that shades will not match.
